Dr. Byers is an amazing woman. She is sweet and sensitive with a big heart for animals. She's helped me keep my little loves happy and healthy, even when we've hit speed bumps along the way.

Dr. Jessen and his staff are the best. They are very caring and understanding. Dr. Jessen takes the time to get to know the animals and their owners. He is very honest with diagnosis and will always work with you for treatment that is needed. If he is not comfortable with a procedure that needs to be done he will let you know and recommends someone else. He is very honest!

I moved into a new area and it took four years to find this wonderful vet. I went to two other vets who didn't give my dog the time of day. When I walked into Dr. Byers office, the staff greeted my dog before me, which I thought was the way it should be. Dr. Byers talked to my dog, and gave me a diagnosis I could fully understand. Dr. Byers and her entire staff showed real compassion, care, and concern. They made me, and most importantly, my dog, feel valued. I completely trust this team, and that is very important when my dog faces an illness or just a wellness checkup. My favorite story is when we returned for our second visit, I was told that because my dog's name is Indiana Jones, the office manager drove everyone crazy the rest of the day by singing the theme from the movie, INDIANA JONES. Indy became well known here, and that makes me very happy. Dr. Byers is definitely the BEST VET!

Hi, my name is Cubby…..In August of 2008, a man and a woman claiming to be my owners’, brought me to Dr. Clifford Jessen, DVM, to be euthanized due to an open back wound. They claimed that they could not afford to treat my condition. Dr. Jessen and his compassionate technician, Ms. Laura McClain, agreed to accept responsibility for nursing my wounds, and getting me back on all four paws. It was a grueling two months of treatments, filled with caring and nurturing help from my newly found caretakers. Without their open-hearted expertise, my life would have been ended. Today, my new Mom, Sandy Porter, and my new Dad, Ned Porter, are so very thankful for Dr. Jessen and Laura’s deeds. Our friendships are treasured, and we love seeing the staff at the veterinarian office. Please recognize them for what their organization does on a daily basis for all dogs and animals in need of their talents and open hearts! Thank you, Cubby
